The Department of Infrastructure and Community Services, directed by José Arce, is scheduled to perform tonight in the third lane asphalt Ronda Sur in the section from the Santa Catalina Highway to the entrance to the village of Patiño.
José Arce pointed out that the purpose of carrying out the asphalt along tonight is to operate this weekend.
This is a performance that covers a length of about 1.5 kilometers.
Arce also said that works are in accordance with the deadlines, so throughout the month of August will be fully completed works of this new lane.
Remember that the opening of this new lane will increase capacity by 30%.
Following the works, Ronda Sur will be able to absorb 40,000 vehicles per day, 10,000 more than at present.
The Department of Infrastructure and Community Services holds the extension of this approach in order to improve circulation and safety in the area.
The Session devoted to this project 1.4 million euros.
The third lane is from the A-30 (Madrid-Cartagena) to the Avenida de Los Dolores, so that there is continuity for the three traffic lanes from Avenida Murcia (Beniaján road) and the present Highway A -30, and its connection with the new road to Dolores.
