In the coming months will be a reality the new road which will connect the hamlet of Beniaján with Fica, thus becoming an important alternative to the current road of Dolores, as the Governing Board of the City of Murcia has approved this morning provisional award to UTE-Building Urdecon SA, for a total of 2,502,416.89 euros.
The new highway will parallel the river Segura, cross the Avenida Miguel Indurain, and when you reach the Round of Levante will turn 90 degrees, meaning Beniaján to connect to this road.
At the intersection with Miguel Indurain will be a roundabout heading.
Note that this new road will be another option to the existing road from Los Dolores, which currently has a capacity of 15,000 vehicles per day, reaching peak collapse.
The new road length of 2,750 meters, will have two lanes in each direction and a central median, and absorb a traffic volume of 43,000 vehicles a day, a figure that nearly triples the current space of the road to Dolores.
