Murcia University hosted the "Workshop on ITS Experiences in Europe", where they made common European experiences on new technologies applied to transportation.
The workshop, held in the University Community Centre, was opened by the Vice Chancellor for Research at the University of Murcia, Juan María Vázquez, and professor and director of the Office of European Projects of this institution, Antonio Gómez Skarmeta.
The opening led to several papers that examined issues such as the status of ITS in countries such as Albania and Romania, or the latest projects in highways.
The meeting was jointly organized by the University of Murcia and University "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" of Iasi (Romania).
