The University of Murcia open tomorrow, day 17, at 12:00 hours, an outdoor museum with thirty rocks of the region that has been assembled at the Garden Volunteer, Campus de Espinardo.
The project, conducted by professors from the Department of Agricultural Chemistry, Geology and Edaflogía, consists of rock specimens of different lithology and age, among which are limestone, dolomite, sand, marble and schist.
This initiative aims to show the geological history of the region through the rocks, and to show the richness, variety and petrological applications.
Each copy is accompanied by an explanatory panel data on your name, location, source, utility and others.
