A doctoral thesis at the University of Murcia by Jesus Sanchez Cuadrado language has created a computer model transformation.
In the thesis, which was directed by Professor Jesús Joaquín García Molina, develops an environment to facilitate the creation of DSL and in particular, the DSL that are created from existing programming languages, known as "embedded."
This research indicates that the development of model-driven software has emerged in recent years as a way of programming that allows for greater productivity than traditional programming, to be able to automate tasks.
He added that instead of programming with conventional languages like Java, you use domain-specific languages (DSL) higher level and closer to the concepts in a particular domain.
From this thesis, the collective "Modelum" at the University of Murcia, which belongs to the Software Engineering group becomes a research team led by developing more active models of Spain and Europe, as test their publications in prestigious journals in the sector.
