The use of forensic linguistics to identify suspects of criminal activity is the theme of the conference that the FBI Special Agent James R.
Fitzgerald offered today at the Faculty of Arts at the University of Murcia.
Fitzgerald, who is in retirement, discussed the research started in your day to identify and arrest Ted Kaczynski, a professor dubbed the "Unabomber" for sending explosive packages to universities and airports in the United States between 1980 1996.

Fitzgerald, after his retirement from active service in the FBI, has been operating as a consultant and lecturer in several specialization programs forensic linguistics.
His lecture at the University of Murcia is one of the masters of English Language and Linguistics.
