Students and faculty of the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Murcia who have participated in an international ecomaratón a green car designed by them are met with the rector of the institution, José Antonio Cobacho, who recounted the experience in competition.
The meeting, held in the convalescence, the team told the president the results of the race, which managed to go 257 kilometers on one liter of ethanol, which has allowed them to move up 32 places in relation to the issue last year.
The team from the University of Murcia participated with a three-wheel prototype weighs thirty kilos and a four-stroke engine adapted to ethanol.
The Shell Eco-marathon is a popular event which aims to cover the greatest distance in miles with as little fuel as possible.
