Five schools and 16 students have been awarded for their participation in the School Sports project, developing the Sports Council, headed by Miguel Cascales, during the school year.
This project, involving about 70,000 students, is sports competitions with domestic championships in the school, city and district (other schools), the promotion of sport in schools sport is practiced tennis, swimming, soccer, basketball, athletics, etc.
Also included are sports and leisure activities such as skiing, sailing, golf, canoeing, ice skating, orienteering, mountaineering, etc., and a drawing and painting sports.
The prizes for participation in these activities were presented today at the Palais des Sports in conjunction with the closing of the School Sports Programme 2008-2009.
