Manuel Castillo, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, University of Murcia and now a researcher at the American University of Kentucky, has won the international award today announces the Institute of Food Technology.
Castillo will receive his award during the conference that the institute held next July in the Californian town of Anaheim.
This teacher currently working in the area of developing fiber optic sensors for process automation in the food industry at the University of Kentucky.
The distinction that has been granted is a recognition of his scientific contributions in the processing of milk and dairy products.
In 2008, Castillo received international research award from the American Dairy Science Association.
