Enhance the activity of small businesses in urban centers in the districts and make them more accessible to the residents is the goal of the Department of Infrastructure and Community Services, directed by José Arce.
The Governing Board of the City of Murcia this week approved the final award of the refurbishment of the town of the village of Guadalupe, for a total of 158,759.99 euros, Schillings Hermanos Construcciones SA.
It carried out the refurbishment of the pavement of roadways and sidewalks of the streets Pelayo Ferrer, Torre Lorenzo and San Antonio, by replacing the pavement, making a unique platform for paving.
The implementation of this unique platform and expansion in some parts of the pedestrian areas will help facilitate walking and use of urban space and reducing traffic speed.
The deadline for implementation of the actions is four months and is expected to be completed after the summer.
These improvement works are part of the collaboration agreement signed between the city of Murcia and Autonomous Community.
