The full City Council today approved the working plan of about 135,577 meters square land, granted by the city of Murcia to expand the campus of the Universidad Católica San Antonio (UCAM), in Guadeloupe.
According to the Plan, the land ceded by the City Council will go mainly to educational facilities, and in addition to sports, cultural and residential and educational, among other purposes.
In these areas will build a central boulevard north / south by two large trees that demarcate parcels, one west of the boulevard aimed at teachers and additional facilities (auditorium and meeting facilities, colleges, library, lecture halls, university clinic, club university social room, nursery, etc.), and another to the east that will be for sports facilities (classrooms, sports complex, Sports Modernization Center, etc.).
It also plans to build a parking area with capacity for 782 seats and space for twelve buses.
Moreover, the Plan provides a land reserve of 3,615 meters intended cuadradros tram infrastructure, which in future will come to the campus of Jeronimos.
