Research conducted at the University of Murcia has uncovered the system that have the fish to defend against pathogens.
This is called piscidins molecules, which are present only in the most advanced fish such as bream and sea bass.
The study was conducted by the investigator Ivan Mulero as part of his doctoral thesis, which was upheld a year ago.
