The Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, thanked the Spanish Society of Rheumatology's election the city of Murcia to celebrate their XXXV National Congress, whose inauguration, which took place yesterday, had the opportunity to participate.
House emphasized in his speech the importance of hard work that will develop these days, about 1,200 attendees at the conference.
The Mayor stressed especially the activities organized around the symposium, including Reumasalud, which came more than 2,000 people.
In this regard, the Chamber noted the relevance of these initiatives that allow "bring medicine to the citizens."
The opening ceremony, which was chaired by Mr. Ramon Luis Valcarcel, included speeches from the presidents of the Spanish Society of Rheumatology and the Society of Rheumatology Murcia, Rosario García de Vicuña and Manuel Castaño, respectively.
The ceremony was held at the Auditorium and Congress Center Victor Villegas, who hosts the conference until Friday.
