Loading and unloading of goods to supply the shops in the Calle Floridablanca in the neighborhood of El Carmen is going to run from tomorrow with all the amenities to make their work.
Murcia City Council, through the Department of Safety and Employment, headed Nuria Fuentes, will enable two lanes on Calle Floridablanca for freight vehicles to perform their loading and unloading without disrupting traffic on the street and providing and their work.
Floridablanca Street has two lanes in each direction so you leave a lane in each direction (the closest to the sidewalk) for loading and unloading can be carried out in complete comfort for business and without causing problems to traffic.
The hours of parking for loading and unloading of goods, which will be signposted along the entire street will be 10 to 12 hours of morning.
The success led to the implementation of this service in the old Calle Correos de Murcia has prompted the Association of Merchants in the neighborhood of El Carmen and the locals to ask the City Council the implementation of this initiative in one of the largest streets concentration of shops in the neighborhood.
