Abudragh Anwar is considered one of the best musicians Iraqis.
As members of Ensemble Maqamat is a disciple of the greatest twentieth century Iraqi music, the oud player Munir Bashir, a key name in the struggle to preserve the music of Iraq.

In his concert in Murcia Tres Culturas interpret the Iraqi maqam, considered the most beautiful musical tradition and sophisticated and well preserved throughout the Arab world that owes its exuberance to the influences it has received from cultures like the Persian and Turkish, as well as poetic repertoire with their songs.
Strong supporters of this fine art in danger of disappearing, these five musicians, exiled in five different countries of Europe, belong to the next generation of interpreters trained in Baghdad Music Institute, the center of the East's most prestigious musical, which closed in nineties.
