The University of Murcia has placed the flags of their representative institutions at half mast in mourning for the death of doctor honoris causa Antonio Campillo, who died last Friday.
The rector of this institution, José Antonio Cobacho, and other members of his team spent Sunday chapel, installed in the church of San Juan de Dios de Murcia.
Antonio Campillo was awarded an honorary doctorate on 16 December, during a ceremony held in the Faculty of Economics, Campus de Espinardo.
The event acted as a sponsor of the new doctor honoris causa by the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, John Romero, who told Campbell the heir of a long tradition of sculptors use clay as a core subject in his creations, which gives its delicacy and sensitivity.
For his part, emphasized the human quality Cobacho Campillo and welcomed the cooperation that has always paid to the University, and has, among other gestures, the transfer of one of his works for Anonymous Outreach Award and another for display in Convalescence building, home of the Chancellor.
