New Javalí neighbors win pedestrian space in the center of town thanks to the City of Murcia has given the green light this morning to award the works to expand the square and the pedestrian Ermita several sections of the Bridge Street , Oven and Concepción.
This project aims to expand the Place de la Ermita, which currently occupies an area of 1,200 square meters and will be of 2,100 square meters.
The square of the Hermitage and its surroundings will be equipped with pavement in different colors and precast paving to facilitate pedestrian traffic and improve aesthetics.
The sections of Bridge Street, Concepción Oven is intended pedestrianise are very narrow-sections 4 to 6 meters where hardly a car and sidewalks very small.
These works have been requested by the Municipal Board.
The total investment of the proceedings, which are part of the collaboration agreement signed between the City and the Autonomous Community of Murcia, will cost a total of 156,960 euros and a lead time of four months so the work will be completed after summer.
In another vein, the Board of Governors has awarded defintivamente tubing works of the canal Turbedal of El Palmar and the company forged Hydraulic Oyco SL for a total of 154,164 euros.
