The integration of disabled persons in the labor field is an important action that the City of Murcia has given special attention.
The Governing Board gave the green light this morning a partnership agreement with ASSIDO-MURCIA Association to carry out practical work training for people with Down syndrome.
The agreement signed between the two institutions will allow a girl with Down syndrome, which has been formed by the association office and computer work, do their work practices in the City, specifically in the Procurement Service.
The internship is six months and will feature the figure of a tutor who will visit regularly to monitor their work.
It should be noted that the City has been working for years with various associations of persons with disabilities, to offer a job opportunity that allows the integration in the sector.
