Students at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Murcia have formed a partnership that aims to study the bull and was presented at a round table held in the center, on the campus of Espinardo.
The association president, José Manuel Álvarez, said in the presentation "The project today is actually comes from ancient, because the Veterinary Faculty of Murcia has backed for years by the bull."
Alvarez added that "the desire to integrate the association who is the bullfighting vetrinarian, and critically evaluating the bull as it deserves."
In the roundtable, which was presented by the bullfighting critic Pepe Castillo, speaking also to Professor Francisco Fuentes, who noted that "those who underestimate the bull is out of ignorance," and lamented that the race has no deals in the faculties of Veterinary Medicine Spain "the attention it deserves."
For his part, Professor Juan Seva also spoke on the role of the veterinarian in the arenas, while Manuel Sanes, a veterinarian at the bullring in Murcia, referred to cleanups that are conducted for farming.
The gathering was also attended by the intervention of the entrepreneur Joaquín Caballero, owner of the arena of Calasparra, who welcomed the presence of young people attracted by the bull.
