Graduates of the University of Murcia are satisfied with the care provided by the secretariats of the centers and with the resolution of questions raised during the race, according to a study by the Centre for Guidance and Information Employment (SIOC) of this educational institution.
The survey was conducted to 1,189 graduates of the University, measured the degree of their satisfaction with the services provided by Academic Management Area, such as, inter alia, the registration process, request for qualifications and academic information general.
The sample, which reaches a third of the total graduates in 2008, gives results that 83% are satisfied with the level of attention received by the secretariats of the faculties and schools, while 80% believe that the resolution of inquiries are conducted properly.
Valued aspect was the level of information to enter university, which means that it is quite acceptable for 80% of respondents.
Another service offered by this area, namely the management fees and scholarships, has been evaluated in the report.
At this point, 42% greatly appreciates the information on dates and deadlines and enrollment and almost 70% believe that the time taken to formalize it was not excessive.
The study also reflects that students are very satisfied with the new registration forms implemented by the University, such as web and automatrícula automatrícula ALA's.
The scholarship information is considered by 65% of respondents as well or enough, while the time spent on the management of these, 58% believe it is acceptable.
The level of information to access the record also reflects positively on the sample, and that 76% think it is very or fairly and more than half are satisfied with the information given to the application of the title.
The study obtained the conclusion that the preferred medium for students to get information about the grades is the website of the University and the schools.
The secretary general, Jose Fulgencio Narrow, which accompanied the Head of Academic Management Area, José Reche, released the data in the report, was satisfied with the results and said it was the duty of every public service to evaluate their services.
To Narrow, the study's findings confirm that "the greatest asset of the University of Murcia is human capital."
