The regional government coordinates the work of the European Business and Innovation of Murcia and Cartagena to become essential tools for stimulating entrepreneurship and creating new companies based on science and technology.
This was presented leaders of the Institute of Development (Info) Region Murcia in the 'I Conference on Technological Entrepreneurship Technology-Based Firms', organized by the Chair of Entrepreneurship at the University of Murcia.
During the meeting, attended by fifty researchers and entrepreneurs, it was recalled that the Ministry of Universities, Business and Research is leading the promotion of entrepreneurship in all its facets, in compliance with the targets set in the Industrial Plan and Science and Technology Plan of the Region of Murcia 2007-2010.
The above objectives the Ministry to take various actions to joint, inter alia, increase the weight of the R + D + i in the region, to achieve an optimal match between Science and Technology indicators, available resources and System requirements, and promoting technology transfer between academia and business.
Also, the info made special mention in the proceedings that enhance the effort of innovation and technological development of companies in the region, as is the case with the aid of 2009 or the Financing Info creation of new knowledge-intensive companies and the achievement of levels of excellence in research and in its management, which are possible within the European Business and Innovation.
During this time, the Department of Innovation Info participated in a paper that outlined the types of funding for Technology-Based Firms.
Furthermore, this activity was addressed by the European Center for Business Innovation Murcia (CEEIM), through the experience of two of the companies housed in their facilities.
