CEBAS-CSIC researchers discovered a method that slows cellular aging (16/04/2009)

A Spanish company has managed to capture and synthesize the results of this technique in the "longevity gene"

A single capsule concentrates the benefits equivalent to those provided for up to 45 bottles of red wine containing resveratrol.

Researchers at the Centre for Soil and Applied Biology Segura (CEBAS-CSIC), coordinated by the researcher, a native of Cehegín, Dr. Juan Carlos Espin, presented today in Madrid the discovery of a technique to enhance the benefits of the grape ( namely resveratrol) to previously unknown limits. Transfer to the consumer has been possible thanks to the focus of a laboratory of 100% Spanish capital, Actafarma.

After several years of development, has managed to capture and synthesize the results of this technique in a product that activates sirtuins, better known as the "longevity gene."

Resveratrol, a beneficial component in the grape and wine passing is a natural activator of sirtuins and this product in a single capsule, concentrates the benefits provided by 45 bottles of wine with resveratrol (but without the negative effects alcohol).

Science reaching the city
