The Town Planning Councillor, Fernando Berberena, held a meeting with Torres Cabezo neighbors affected by the Special Plan for the renewal of the Heads of Collado and La Cruz to reassure them and assure them that there will be no demolition of houses.
The mayor explained that what has been approved as a first working document for on this project and with the arguments of the neighbors, make the best special plan that best suits the needs of all people living in area.
The objectives of this Special Plan is to improve accessibility, create more green spaces, fixing equipment and allow rehabilitation of existing homes in the area.
The neighbors will continue to present arguments for the month of May and throughout June and July will study Urban Planning.
In late September there will be a second document containing the technical arguments and Planning will meet again with the Neighborhood Council, neighborhood associations and Torres Cabezo those affected to explain the second sketch of the Special Plan shall be admitted more suggestions and if necessary will be a third draft of the Special Plan until it reaches a degree of consensus that allows it to be the best project for the neighbors, affecting the fewest number of existing homes.
