Abarán municipalities, Aguilas, Alhama, Blanca, Cartagena, Cehegín, Cieza, Jumilla, La Union, Lorca, Los Alcazares, Mazarron Molina de Segura, Murcia, San Javier, San Pedro del Pinatar, Santomera Totana Yecla, host This year the activities of the International University of the Sea, whose starting point is, as usual during the Three Cultures, which this year will be held from 12 to 19 May under the title 'The Apollonian and Bacchic in Three Cultures', and will feature the supervision of Professor José María Jiménez Cano.
The course will be held at the Faculty of Arts, intended as a means to deepen the knowledge of the imaginary of the Three Cultures, "helping to interpret the present and make proposals for the future."
The inaugural conference will be on "secret literature of the last Muslims in Spain", and run by Luce López-Baralt, professor at the University of Puerto Rico Rio Piedras.
