The Governing Council of the University of Murcia approved the launch of the Center for the Study of Education report of this institution, given by the Vice President for Innovation and Convergence, directed by Professor Pilar Arnaiz.
The Centre is located at the Faculty of Education, Campus Espinardo, and one of its objectives will be to preserve, study and disseminate historical memory and heritage, education in the Region of Murcia, in their schools or training and their teachers and students.
Also undertakes to promote and assist in organizing exhibitions and to encourage the sale or donation of funds from individuals.
Also work in creating an audiovisual archive of images and interviews school or life stories of teachers and students.
Finally, we will organize courses, seminars and lecture series related to the study and dissemination of educational memory.
