The Governing Council of the University of Murcia, in an extraordinary session held today in Convalescence, set the boundaries of places for new income that will govern next year, which will exceed the number of sixty degrees and includes the implementation of Pharmacy .
The university offers nearly forty graduate degrees, representing the adaptation of these studies to the European Higher Education Area.
Capacity limits for 2009-2010 reflected an increase in Administration and Management, which runs from 500 to 650; Social Education, which runs from 125 to 150, Primary School Teaching, staffed with 230 compared to 180 of this course, and Social Work, rising from 125 to 150 seats.
Medicine, in which the University has made an effort in recent years to meet strong demand records this qualification, will have 200 seats, up from 25 in the year 2008-2009.
For its part, the new degree of Pharmacy will in this first year of operation with fifty seats.
