For use and enjoyment of residents of the hamlet of El Palmar, the Department of Infrastructure of the City of Murcia, directed by José Arce Pallares, will carry out refurbishment works in the same square.
The Governing Board has provisionally awarded the work to Francisco Romero Pérez, for a total of 60,299.99 euros.
The firm designed the Plaza Capitán García Gallego has 20 inches of artificial gravel subbase, 20 cm mass concrete foundation and floor slab of granite.
It is also envisaged the dismantling of existing sources due to the continuous overflow problems that occur, enabling in place a play area, by placing safety tiles which are placed on different playgrounds.
The period of execution of the works will be four months, so that is expected after summer the residents of El Palmar will have a completely renovated plaza.
These works are part of the collaboration agreement signed between the city of Murcia and Autonomous Community.
