Alternative Building Sangonera La Verde has made the biggest road infrastructure in the history of this hamlet and one of the most important of those pursued by the City Council in the municipality.
The President of the Autonomous Community, Ramón Luis Valcárcel, and the Mayor of Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara, presided this morning the inauguration of this work, with a length of 3.9 kilometers and in which it has invested 11, 6 million euros.
The action is part of the cooperation protocol signed between Valcárcel and House for the improvement of road communications in the municipality, which will represent the largest investment in highways Murcia.
The implementation of this project, along with the North Coast and South, which are currently underway, "represent a substantial change in the movement and accessibility throughout the municipality and its entry into service will result in a comprehensive change in mobility.
The first to appreciate the coming into operation of this variant will be the residents of Sangonera La Verde, who until now has been supporting the passage through its street of thousands of vehicles daily, many of them trucks that continued retention caused traffic town center.
Furthermore, vehicles of the Industrial West and Central Integrated Transport are at your service this new road that will allow them to stop through the hamlet.
Alternative Sangonera La Verde recorded between 18,000 and 20,000 vehicles per day.
The route connects with the highway MU-30 to the Reguerón, where it has built a bridge and the road Reguerón RM 603.
The vial contains 6 roundabouts, two branches of access to the street of Sangonera La Verde and an Integrated Transport Centre.
In addition, the route crosses the river Nil and Reguerón, forcing the demolition or building two bridges.
The road has two lanes in each direction, center median and bike lanes.
The works of the Tranche A Brothers have been made by Schillings in joint venture with Brocal Electrical Installations, including the bridge over the Reguerón, and started on April 1, 2009.
Meanwhile, the Tranche B the company awarded the project has been the joint venture formed by Hidracur-Trimtor, which started work on 30 April last year.
