An exhibition of works by 24 artists from the region contributes to the work of UNICEF in child protection (28/04/2009)

Galeria La Aurora de Murcia hosts from now until next May 30 the exhibition 'Unite for Children', shows a solidarity which will be inaugurated this afternoon by the president of the Community, Ramón Luis Valcárcel, and involving A total of 24 artists from Murcia.

Initiative organized by the gallery owner José Fermín Serrano, UNICEF partner for years, Unite for Children 'seeks to raise funds for various initiatives promoted by the United Nations agency that looks after the rights of minors.

A portion of proceeds from the sale of works of the participating artists will go to various charity projects that UNICEF promotes the benefit of children in the neediest areas in the world.

The sample contains creations artists including Alfonso Albacete, Ana Martínez, Ángel Haro, Angel Mateo Charris, Antonio Ballester, Antonio Martínez Mengual, Carmen Baena, Dora Catarineu, Eduardo Pérez Salgado, Emilio Pascual, Esteban Linares, Gonzalo Sicre, John la Cruz, Manolo Barnuevo, Belz Manolo, Manuel Pérez, Miguel Fructuoso, Nico Munuera, Nicolas de Maya, Pedro Cano, Lucas Pepe, Pepe YagÃ¼es, Vicente Ruiz, Willy Ramos.

With nearly 40 pieces, the exhibition offers the public a rich catalog multidisciplinary, in which some of the painting, photography and sculpture.
