On Monday morning has begun to distribute 1,000 copies of the comic by the Youth Association of Aljucer Villa to complete its sixth anniversary celebrations.
During the past weekend, also organized other activities such as table games, video game tournaments, craft workshops and a film forum.
The organization, founded on April 23, 2003 by a group of three young people between 17 and 18, already has 80 members, and last March he moved to new premises, more spacious and comfortable, in a ceremony presided by the Mayor of Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara.
To culminate the celebration of its sixth anniversary, today the organization has begun to distribute the 1,000 copies of a comic that has developed its own partners in dealing with the history of the garden.
The publication also explains the operation of the network of canals, in a didactic and comprehensible to the youngest.
The comic is also about the traditions, such as the sport of bowling huertanos, and makes a tour of the landmarks of the hamlet, as the coats of arms, and Oliver Mill partially destroyed, as one of the last examples of the great important point of the garden that was Aljucer for the mills of the canals of the huerta de Murcia.
