The Ministry of Agriculture and Water has invested one million euros in the packaging of a 2.5 kilometer stretch of the ditch Benetúcer in Llano de Brujas, which has optimized the hydraulic transport, to prevent loss of water for irrigation, and environmental improvements.
The Minister of Agriculture and Water, Antonio Cerdá, opened today with the mayor of Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara, and the village headman of Llano de Brujas, Juan Hernandez, works to improve infrastructure.
Cerda said that with the refurbishment of the canal "solve a historical problem in Llano de Brujas and eliminate the danger posed by the narrowness of this stretch to the movement of both people and vehicles, earning a linear public space of 2.5 km" .
In addition, the Minister stressed that "from the hydraulic point of view, the works carried facilitate rainwater runoff and reduce losses of irrigation water."
The work has consisted of a casing with a diameter equal to or greater than one meter, according to sections, and the replacement and refurbishment of the earthworks and the firm.
