Murcia University today opened the Plaza of Sustainability, along with the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, as well as eco-campus gardens in Espinardo, within the activities included in the Second Conference on Environment and Sustainability.
These opening ceremonies attended, along with the rector, José Antonio Cobacho, and several members of the governing team, the Minister of Agriculture, Antonio Cerdá, the regional director of Banco Santander, Luis María Conde, deputy director of the Foundation Cajamurcia, Pascual Martínez .
Both savings institutions have collaborated in projects of the Plaza of Sustainability and eco-campus gardens.
The Conference will be closed today with a ceremony that will begin at 17:00 and includes the planting of over two hundred trees as an example of the environmental commitment of the University of Murcia and the awards of the various competitions held.
The Conference on Environment and Sustainability were opened yesterday at the Campus de Espinardo with the launch of an information fair and sustainable market, among other activiadades.
