Murcia hosted a Day of the Socialist Group in the European Parliament on "Equality Policies in the European Union" as the first act of pre-campaign for European Parliament elections.

The president, Federation of Rural Women in the Region of Murcia, María Dolores Abellán, said the goal is to unite FADEMUR the voices of women in rural areas to eliminate multiple discrimination they suffer.
