The University of Murcia has launched a civic education course on tax, which has as main objective to train future professionals in the field of education in the development of a fiscal conscience.
This activity, led by Professor of the Faculty of Education Remedios de Haro, aims to provide young people with a conceptual schema about fiscal responsibility to help them join their role as taxpayers.
The course provides tools and educational tools to become critical citizens, committed to the XXI century society.
At the opening of the course, the chancellor of the University, José Antonio Cobacho, stressed the importance of educating citizens in the civic consciousness and added that in order to maintain the welfare state, so this means investment in education and Health, among others, "it must meet our tax obligations."
Also speaking at the opening of the course director and special representative of the State Tax Administration Agency, Antonio Merediz, and was also in the presence of Deputy Director of the Agency, Faustino Manrubia.
