The past, present and future of democracy is the subject of study of the sixteenth week of Ethics and Political Philosophy, which was inaugurated in the Merced campus of the University of Murcia.

The meeting, coordinated by Professor José Luis Villacañas this institution, will address, among other sections of the problems and deficiencies of European democracy, democracy and justice in Latin America and the future of democratic regimes in the global society.

The conference is divided into different tables and have the exposure of lectures by specialists from different Spanish and foreign universities.

All these activities, which will run until 23 April, will be developed in university and the Archaeological Museum of Murcia.
