The Mayor, Miguel Angel House, has won the eighth place in the Stone-throwing contest of Peace, after reaching 12.86 meters.
The event took place this morning at the Plaza Belluga within the Fourth Exhibition of Olive Launch Bone 09, organized by the Asociación Amigos de las Oliveras de Cieza in collaboration with the Local Youth Council of Murcia.
The first place has got Teodoro Garcia, their status as Managing Director of Energy Management Agency of the Region of Murcia, this time joined by his title of world champion in this category.
Garcia has obtained a mark of 16.84 meters.
Among the council members who have participated in the contest, the best place he has occupied Antonio Castillo -15.46 -, followed by Joaquin Moya-Angeler -13.87 - -11.60 Christopher Smith - and Nuria Fuentes -7.06 -.
People's Party Rep. Andres Ayala has been a mark of 12.04 in his debut.
