The Committee in Support of Sex Workers (CATS) will receive a grant of 100,000 euros from the Department of Health and Human Services to develop the program of protection and support to persons engaged in prostitution in the town.

This initiative will address the health needs of sex workers, facilitate their health care, provision of condoms and medical supplies needed as well as health education and study of their needs.

The Governing Board has given approval to renew the cooperation agreement that the Department of Health and Social Services has with CATS.
