Murcia City Council will sign eight agreements with social partners to boost job creation in the county, especially among the younger population.
The Governing Board gave the nod to cooperation agreements with the Association of Young Farmers in the Region of Murcia (Asaja), the Association of Young Entrepreneurs in the Region of Murcia, UGT, CCOO, CROEM, Radio Ecca and Union of Worker Cooperatives (UCOMUR).
The council allocated € 72,000 to the eight agreements that will allow the boost to employment by working with social partners.
Since entrepreneurship is one of the basic pillars that underpin local economic growth, and that the objectives of the council is to encourage, promote and develop the growth of the municipality, such partnerships will assist the City in order enhance the business and hence employment.
