UI + Councillor Greens Murcia, Esther Herguedas, said today that the local municipality and the regional government show an attitude of "passive" to the shorter hours of bus lines 7.12, 27 and 30.
To Herguedas, cutting this service is "a new attack on urban mobility, which advertises both the president of the European Forum for Mobility and mayor of the municipality, Miguel Angel House."
He added that the government team "should use the financial resources allocated to advertising campaigns encouraging the use of public transport in improving the service."
"This reduction is clearly an attack on a vital public service in Murcia is to Third World levels, and instead of improving, continues to deteriorate while not stop rising fares," said the leftist mayor.
He added that his political will "continue working for a mobile that really meets the needs of this municipality and managed by public transport from non-commercial and public interests."
