The committee promoting a popular initiative for the continuation of the Tajo-Segura met today with the rector of the University, José Antonio Cobacho, to request the assistance of this educational institution to the project.
During a meeting in the convalescence, home of the Chancellor, members of the committee explained to Cobacho that must collect 500,000 signatures to Congress to discuss the request for the duration of Diversion "is undefined."
The promoters also said they intend to make the same request for collaboration to other universities in the Murcia Region and neighboring regions.
Part of this committee, among others, former President of the Autonomous Ros Andrés Hernández, former president of the Board of the University Tomás Zamora, the journalist Adolfo Fernandez, the State Attorney Juan Ramón Calero, and Professor of Law José Muñoz Clares.
