The University of Murcia Autonomous Community shall request authorization to provide "at least" 25 bachelor's degrees next year, under the resolution adopted by the Governing Council of this educational institution.
The rector, José Antonio Cobacho, said today that "the adoption of these grades has been a great effort by the University, given the economic difficulties that are going through."
Cobacho added to continue the efforts of the team headed for more resources and to extend this offer, "as not exclude that the approved number now increase."
The degrees that the University will give the next course, if you get the permission of the Regional Executive, are the Fine Arts, Biochemistry, Science and Food Technology, Nursing (Murcia and Cartagena), English Studies, Pharmacy, Philology, Philosophy and Physics.
Are also the Geography and Regional Planning, History, Art History, Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Spanish Language and Literature, Modern Languages and Literatures, Speech and Math.
Also, has requested authorization for grades Optometry, Psychology, Chemistry, Industrial Relations and Human Resources-ISEN, Translation and Interpretation and Tourism.
The Governing Council also approved the schedule of the Sea International University, presented by the Vice Chancellor of University Extension, Francisco Guillermo Diaz.
Diaz said that despite the financial cuts have managed to organize more than fifty proposals, which include traditional courses to be developed at different locations of the University and other new activities, as a science camp in Crevillente (Alicante .)
The offer, "with a wide range of courses," said the rector, will be held in twenty municipalities in the region.
