As in previous years, effective Fire and Civil Defence volunteers have developed a plan of action ahead of the celebration of Easter 2009.
139 troops which will be used to ensure security during the events will take place over the Easter Murcia.
In the case of Civil Protection, the activities to be undertaken by volunteers during the various events will focus on support and collaboration with local police in preventive work, citizen information, location of missing children, help the elderly, health assistance (first aid), among others.
During Holy Week the Civil Defence volunteers planning service will exit and return of the processions, and during the tour.
The device is shaped as follows: volunteers from support groups and health, which will carry the corresponding kits and watching for any eventuality that they witness or make available.
As for the broadcast group, all volunteers will carry laptops, being in permanent contact with all personnel serving and 112 emergency services.
They also carry flashlights and all necessary equipment to meet any eventuality.
Regarding the Fire Department during the development of the processions, there's a catch (consisting of a fire engine vehicle-urban-second output, a corporal, two firefighters and a driver) to be located strategically on the basis of the procession route.

Saturday, April 11: Plaza Fontes.
Sunday, April 12: Street Salzillo-arches of the cathedral.
The total strength of Fire who shall serve during the Passion Week in Murcia is 80 effective.
The routes will also have emergency access to facilitate the transition in the event of actual need for Fire, Civil Defence volunteers and local police and citizens in general.
