The Craft Centre of Murcia, located on the street Actor Francisco Rabal, 8, hosts throughout the month of April the exhibition 'Homage to Chocolate', in which the artisan baker Andrew Marble shows 400 figures which has developed 300 kilos of various chocolates.
The Director General of Trade and Crafts, Julio José Lorenzo, and the craftsman himself, this morning opened the exhibition which is open to the public Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 to 14:00 and 16:30 to 20 : 30 hours.
Julio José Lorenzo said that with this exhibition, supported by the Ministry of Universities, Business and Research, "we try to display and draw attention of society on food artisans of the region of Murcia, characterized by its quality and use of traditional techniques in innovative ways. "
In fact, the Ministry through the Directorate General of Trade and Crafts, has supported advocacy and dissemination of craft supply through the participation of artisans in different samples across the regional geography, and the grant of events developed craft associations and exhibitions of Meat Loaf in 2007, the presentation of the cake Princess Letizia, winning a national competition, and making and tasting of a giant Kings roscón every year in Totana.
Currently, the Region is 401 artisans who are dedicated to food.
The exhibition 'Homage to Chocolate' records, in 26 square meters, four figures wide range of issues and intended primarily for children, such as Easter eggs, houses, dolls, animals and a well.
It also features a chocolate orchard shack of a meter in height.
The money raised from the sale of this piece will be given to Jesus Forsaken.
The artisan baker Andrew Marble, author of the exhibition is a reference to regional and national winner in the Championship of Spain in 2006 for her dessert 'Infanta Leonor,' and was runner-up in Spain in the competition for chocolate pieces Santa Pau (Barcelona) in 2007, and ranked third in 2008.
Who runs the bakery, located in El Palmar, was founded in 1988 and its products, among which production of chocolates own, supplying some of the biggest companies on the national scene.
