More than forty residents of Fleet and James and Zaraíche join the program tonight 4 / 40, to keep company 4 days a week 40 minutes a day, which promotes the City Health Department.
The response of the residents of this group started its activity today has been so great that it was necessary to create two groups instead of one as originally planned.
In addition, residents registered to participate in this activity are two groups of different ages, one that includes people between 40 and 55 and another made up of people aged between 60 and 75.
The route will take place Juan de Borbón-Santiago and Zaraíche, Monday to Thursday from 20.30 to 21.10 hours.
The starting point is at 20.30 at the door of the Municipal Center and Zaraíche Santiago.
In addition, there are already groups doing this activity along the Malecon and Churra.
Walking 40 minutes four days a week can improve health, reduce heart disease, reduce high blood pressure, cholesterol, obesity, overweight, increase flexibility, improve bone-related diseases, diabetes and the state of mind.
