Streamline, organize and improve traffic safety is the goal that the City of Murcia want to achieve with the construction of two roundabouts in the Industrial Park West (San Ginés), for a total of 305,281.45 euros.
The works will have a lead time of two months for each roundabout will be built.
Both roundabouts behold a dimension of 32 meters in diameter in two of the three major intersections, and the third is regulated by traffic lights.
Both roundabouts will be located within the existing road to allow better mobility.
The inside lanes (two per roundabout) will be four feet wide, allocating within a shoulder of a meter, and out of a 50-inch, which will facilitate the rotation of special vehicles and articulated.
Also planned is the horizontal and vertical signaling in the environment for both roundabouts.
The landscaping of the central island will be made based on different plant species, which will be irrigated by drip.
