A painting by Angel Murcia Hernansáez announces the Spring Festival.
The Department of Popular Culture Festivals and has chosen one of the greatest painters of Murcia Murcia today to decorate the streets during those days.
This time it is an oil and acrylic, in yellows and browns, which shows the profile of a woman with floral motifs decorating their hair in this picture mixing two of the major facets of Hernansáez: portraits and still lifes .
The artist Murcia has been characterized throughout his career by a great perfection, wanting to explore new concepts in painting and continuously seeking innovation in the art.
Hernansáez a degree in Fine Arts and Professor of Drawing, being also a member of the Academy of Fine Arts in Santa Maria de la Arrixaca.
In 1973 and was commissioned to paint a poster for the Spring Festival.
His works are in the Museo de Bellas Artes de Murcia, municipalities of Murcia, Cartagena, Fuente Alamo, Spain's Banco de Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Presidency of the European Parliament in Strasbourg and at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris.
