The University of Murcia has developed a fully digital information system, accessible from the Internet which is a comprehensive reform of the procedure for publication of official notices and has been presented at a meeting of the Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities (CRUE), held in Córdoba .
This product, known as the "Edict" (Certified Digital Edition Official Boards) has been raised in a modular way and based on open access systems and, therefore, is valid in his philosophy for any government.
Edict start of the 2007 Law on Citizens' Electronic Access, which offers this new service generated at the University of Murcia.
In this meeting of the Sectoral Committees CRUE Information Technology and Communications and Secretary General of Spanish Universities attended the University of Murcia the Vice Chancellor for Economic and Infrastructure, Antonio Calvo-Flores, and the Secretary and Deputy Secretary, Jose Fulgencio Narrow and Mercedes Farias.
Also attending Carmen Ruiz Llamas, General Counsel, and Thomas Jimenez, head of the Department of Information Technology and Communications (ATIC).
