The rector of the University of Murcia, José Antonio Cobacho, and the Minister of Education, Constantine Sotoca today opened the European Science Olympiad, which involved more than one hundred high school students of secondary and eighty teachers from a dozen countries .

Each team will be tested in Biology, Physics and Chemistry, which will be supervised by the Department of Analytical Chemistry at the University of Murcia.

The Olympics, whose inaugural meeting was also attended by, among others, the rector of University Extension, Francisco Guillermo Diaz, takes place in the University Community Center on the campus of Espinardo.

The awards ceremony will take place during a ceremony to be held on April 4 in the General Archive of the Region of Murcia.
