Letter from the Association of Solidarity with the Palestinian People:
The Association of Solidarity with the Palestinian People strongly criticizes the attitude of the two municipal parties, the PP and PSOE, not having served in today's motion IU-Greens simply calling the Festival Murcia Three Cultures of this year, devoted to Israel, not to allow the presence of official Israeli authorities, although, of course, of artists from that country.
The reason is the lack of ethics that is to invite official representatives of a country that has been condemned by several international human rights courts to the genocide and war crimes against humanity, committed his government in late 2008 and early 2009 in the Gaza Strip through the slaughter of his army against defenseless civilians, half of the 1,300 killed, women and children.
Carry out such an invitation is no less an accomplice also an acceptance of such behavior, and above all an insult to the victims of that slaughter.
The Association has announced it will conduct a peaceful boycott the presence of genocidal government authorities.
