Signature of agreement between Health and the Spanish Association Against Cancer Murcia (26/03/2009)

The Minister of Health, María Ángeles Palacios, president of the Spanish Association Against Cancer of Murcia, Agustin Navarrete, today signed the agreement on renewing the partnership between both parties in order to prevent breast cancer and reduce mortality from this cause among women Murcia.

In particular, held this year AECC screening mammography and complementary studies of image, when indicated, about 37,000 women in the region aged 50 to 69 years.

The Ministry will finance these actions with 400,000 euros
